Outdoor Library Launched!

The children have been VERY excited by the official opening of the outdoor library on return to school for the second half of spring term. All children at school have been allocated timetabled slots, across the week, where they can sit on the outdoor bean bags and benches and read the books, comics or newspapers that are available inside the NEW outdoor library. Miss Low has asked children to volunteer and show SERVICE to our school by being librarians to help run this new space, as well as the main school library, keep these spaces tidy and also get feedback from their peers on what other books and reading materials they would like. They will also gather reviews and recommendations to help their friends select books to read. We hope that this will bring much JOY to all of our school community and encourage us all to read for pleasure.
