What an amazing day we have had!
As part of 'National Tree Week', today we celebrated the importance of trees, not only for their positive environmental impact, but also for how important they are for our wellbeing. The children shared their opinions about why they think trees are important, they imagined what advice a tree would give to them, they wrote a class poem titled 'Our Tree' and they spent the afternoon in Forest School. We even made our own eco Christmas tree for the classroom.
Have a look at our class gallery, it's filled with joy.
Thursday 7th November 2024
We have had a super start to our history enquiry question for this half-term 'How do our favourite toys and games compare with those of children in the 1960s?' We spent the day at the Black Country Living Museum learning about toys and the lives of children in the past.
Have a look on the class gallery page to see all the fun we had.
