Weekly Spellings

This year the children will complete spellings differently.

• The children will be working on spellings, strategies and patterns during the week and bringing their spellings home to practice on a Wednesday as part of their homework. 
• The children will then be tested on the words on the next Monday. They may also have some surprise words if the words follow a pattern.
• We will be learning a variety of strategies that the children should be able to share with you when practising their words at home.
