Weekly homework in Class 6 consists of completing the following: 

• One Literacy/Reading task provided weekly 
• One Numeracy task provided weekly
• Spelling practice at home (pleasure support your child with this)
• Reading with an adult on a daily basis 
• TT Rockstars times table practice

It is extremely helpful when comments are made in reading records and homework books based on your child's achievements or difficulties.

All homework is given out on Friday and must be completed by the following Wednesday. I will make children aware on Monday and Tuesday if homework still needs to be completed. I am more than happy to offer help during lunchtime on Tuesday, if anyone in the class requires support, but it is the responsibility of the children to ask for this help.

For literacy and numeracy homework, there is a minimum score requirement of 70% in place.  This is to ensure that the children have a good understanding of the topic covered in the tasks.

If homework is not completed by 9am Wednesday morning, this will be completed in their own time at school until all homework tasks are finished.

Weekly homework tasks and spellings will be sent via a link to OneNote on their school email. All children have been issued with all relevant passwords to enable them to access their homework.

If a child forgets their password, please tell me as soon as possible as I will need to request that it is reset - I cannot do this myself, it is done by our IT management company.
