Class News

Happy new year to everyone. After a really positive first term in Year 6, we need to keep building on this and make sure we keep making progress.

Please use our class website to keep up to date with different trips and activities that are on offer; any homework or revision activities that are available; any notices or reminders and of course, general documents such as: class timetables, spelling lists, links to helpful websites and any other information which I feel may be of any help to you at home. 

If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to ask.

Class 6 Reminders

Please do not forget to have with you the following items on the correct days of the week!

• PE Kits should be worn on a Thursday and Friday. On a Thursday, you will have outdoor PE, so you will need a spare pair of shoes to wear after your PE lesson.
• Homework is to be handed in on Wednesdays and then handed back out on Friday. If help is required with homework, I can provide this on Tuesday during Homework Club.
• Spelling lists are to be taken home on a Friday ready to be tested on a Wednesday.
• Recognition cards and reading records should be in school on a daily basis and signed on a weekly basis. Both of these are signed on a Monday morning by Mr. Eaton, so must be signed by a parent or carer over the prior weekend.

*It is important that children become responsible for their own equipment and take it upon themselves to ensure that they have the right things in school on the right days. There will be suitable consequences for those who continue to fail to ensure the above is followed as this isn't fair for those who consistently follow the expectations.*
